Talent Management in a Globalised Economy
Economy and its sphere of influence have crossed National Boundaries and now we are in a Globalised world. Population which was looked upon earlier as burden has turned into a positive factor contributing to the economy by providing competitive wage rates to the Indian and Chinese Industry. The Industries have grown to be absorb multinationals. The Infosys and TCS hire international creamy layer talent of considerable proportion . The Chinese Industry hire Singapore Talent in the Financial Sector owing to thier reputation in Integrity. However the Financial Packages offered by the Industry alone would not be the driving force.
The prime Talent needs are to be addressed both by the Industry and Government
The System, infrastructure and the administration provided to reside in the country should be simplified through computerisation. The more the complexity the more it protects corrupt attitudes. The fire in every citizen including those in Government should not be restricted to speeches. The more the public participation in public administration by being vigilant is the sure key to success.
The Highways have been made to world standards in India. The other network of roads need to be to world standards like providing rain water drainage which damage the roads often immediately after a road is laid. In fact the rain water can be collected to common reservoirs.
The water quality and public health care provided is to be to WHO standards to every nook and corner
India is one of the major producers of agricultural products. However the Public distribution system is very weak, complex and corrupt. This leads to the farmer not getting his due and we have incidents of suicide deaths while there is a substantial price inflation in the urban market
However it is not the share of Government alone. The Industry is reponsible Socially.. The Public are to be vigilant in routine life and live up to Age old Accommodating Cultural tradition to both The citizens and the multinationals
